These are some brief introductory definitions of LGBTI. There is so much to learn about gender and sexual identity, so please understand these are very simple definitions. The definitions are not meant to offend anyone.
What is Lesbian?
Lesbians are women who are physically, mentally and emotionally attracted to women. These women show sexual desire with the other women of same sex like them. They don’t have sexual desire with opposite sex i.e. male.
What is Gay?
Men who are physically mentally and emotionally attracted to men are Gay. These men show sexual desire with the other men of same sex like them. They don’t have sexual desire with opposite sex i.e. female
What is Bisexual?
People who have sexual desire, physical and mental attraction with both male and female are bisexual
What is Transgender?
Transgender is a term describing a person who changed gender, either from Male to Female OR Female to Male.
What is Trans-Man? (Female to Male or F2M)
Men (transmen) are those persons who are female by birth but their gender identity looks like male in course of their age growth
What is Trans-Woman? (Male to Female or M2F)
Women (trans women) are those persons who are male by birth but their gender identity looks like female in course of their age growth
What is Intersex?
An umbrella term used to describe people born with sex characteristics that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies
